  • BASIC GAME
How to play with the Ladomi deck, Basic game?
  • PLAYERS
The basic game is played with two players, one in front of the other other. Each player can use one hand, usually the right hand.
  • PREPARATION
First we have to separate the cards with the symbol b (flat) and # (sharp), and play with the remaining cards (49 natural notes).
Once shuffled, each player is dealt four piles of five cards face down to each one, called «piles to discard» (blue).
The remaining cards are divided approximately into two equal piles, one for each player called «piles of serve» (Orange), which will be face down and placed to the right of each player. (s)
In the center of the table there will be the space for the two «game piles» (white).
At the beginning of the game there is no card in these two spaces.

  • RITUAL: 1 2 3, LADOMI!
Once the cards are placed you have to perform a ritual to start playing:
Each player gives two taps on his serve pile and a slap, hand to hand with his opponent. At the same time that you tap the piles, you say loudly and in unison: «one, two, three!». After that and repeating the same rhythm, you tap again three wore times saying out loud : «La-Do-Mi!» .
  • LET´S PLAY!!!!
After the ritual, each player must uncover the top card of his serve pile and leave it face up in the new pile, called the game pile. Next, each player must uncover the first of each of their discard piles.
  • STARTING THE COUNT DOWN!
You have to be the fastest to discard!
The first player who manages to run out of cards in the four discard piles wins the game !!!
  • HOW TO DISCARD
If you have in your piles of discard a card with the note «A» you will be able to  discard it, if you have in your piles of discard a letter with the previous or subsequent note, that is, if you have the note «G» or the note «B» («H» in german version).
As we play cards in the game pile, the cards of the discard piles must be uncovered.
Both players can discard in either of the two piles of game simultaneously.
The fastest player to get rid of his cards wins.
  • LOCK 1
In the case where none of the players can continue discarding, repeat the starting ritual and place a new card discovered in each of the piles of play.
In case of following the blocked game, repeat the ritual as many times as necessary in order to continue playing.
  • LOCK 2
If the serve cards are exhausted, the game cards are collected, re-mixed and divided approximately into two equal piles, one for each player. Then they are placed face down as piles of serve.
Once the cards are prepared, the ritual is repeated and the game begins again.
  • WHY DOES THE LADOMI BOARD BE A PEDAGOGICAL GAME?
By playing the basic game we have indirectly developed the ability to quickly think of second ascending and descending intervals.
Once we have played this version of the basic game we can change the interval to work: third, fourth, fifth, etc.
